About Jimmy MG Lim

Hi, I am Jimmy MG Lim. Some people stick with calling me “Guan”; “Jimmy” works just as well.

I work in Information Management, Software Engineering, Graphics & Editorial and Teaching. I am the author of “samurai“, “upp (usage provenance and prediction) framework” and “zenify series“. I am also the co-founder of DracoTurtur software development labs and I regularly consult for University of Kent as a Lead Engineer/Supervisor.

More about Me

Back in 2010 and I was proud to help deliver one of the first Cloud and Green Computing modules in UK at University of Kent. Earlier in 2000, I started web development and focused on helping small business web engineering and design.

Currently, I am involved in agile software development with high-level programming languages such as Javascript (meteorjs), Python, Ruby and most recently C. I am interested in the research areas of “machine learning, prediction with automation” and “cultures and philosophy of astrology”.

When not doing the above, you can find me reading, playing card games, supporting open-source software (see below), DIY, cooking, collecting rare coins or mudding.
